My Argumentative Essay

Argumentative Essay is an Essay that includes subjects to discuss it's PROs and Cons.'PRO' means agreeing side of the topic while 'CON' means opposing side of the topic,Argumentative Essay should include both ideas. They need thesis statement which tells the writer's opinion and conclusion. My essay topic is 'The selection to ban the hair regulation was a good choice'...Now, let me start my essay.

In Seoul, just two years ago, there were hair regulations in middle schools. Students had to follow haircut rules of their school. Schools pressed us to have short hairstyles as they thought it is the best style for us while studying. I disagree with them. Schools should give students freedom to choose their own hairstyles.
Anyway, let's get into the topic.

For one thing, short hair has very little relation with studying. People argue that students are playing with their hair in class but actually that's not correct. Students who are playing with their hair will play with other things if they are forced to cut their hair!! The fundamental problem is their mind but teachers think that the problem is their hairstyle. Actually, there are numerous top students who has long hair and care for their hair. Caring their outlooks can be harmful when it becomes excessive, but in other cases it is a responsibility of us, not hindering our studies.

However, opposing sides argue that short hair helps with concentration and is convenient while studying. They say that long hair easily distracts one's concentration because they constantly slip down one's shoulder while studying.(And I'd oppose to that ,too. We can pull our hair up!!)

Second, some hairstyles prevents individuality!
Everybody is having a shortcut, same length, same color, even same uniforms.
No difference! Schools will look like a 'student factory' or 'robot display stand'. Schools should be fun. Studying is really important but we don't want boring and tedious schools. We should have some individuality in school.
look at this picture... It's horrible!!

However, the opponents say "Individuality and fashion or outlooks are not that important in school lives." However, this is not true because a student who cares for oneself can care for their studies well, too.

In conclusion, I believe that hair regulation ban is a really good idea for us.
We need change! We need freedom! We need Individuality!
That's the way we, the majority of the school, want to go on and reform our own schools...

My Short Stories

My Vignette about Hamster

책 일러스트A short story is a part of literature which usually deals with words less than 1000 words. There are three ways you can write your own short stories ; a drabble, flash fiction, and vignette.
First, a drabble is a short story within 100 words. No, I would just say that it is exactly 100 words about a topic. Second, a flash fiction is a story less than 1000 words. It usually includes its story. Lastly, a vignette is a short story written on one thing.

Today, I'm gonna write my post about my vignette. This vignette is about my hamsters.
Just enjoy :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

WARM LOVING ANIMALS

My pets. Loving me a lot. Follow me, Lick my finger when I touch them. One's white and one's black. With warm body, soft fur, and cute feet! My pets. They're hamsters. Small but twinkling eyes. Red cute mouth with long whiskers tickling me as they move around. My own pets, I care for and feed. love their smell. love their feelings. love them. Love my own pets...

This doesn't look like a short story, as it has no story lines inside it. But sorry guys, this is a short story. It's very unique, isn't it?

Writing a short story is not that difficult. Just choose what do you want to write and write them down. Choose a form, or if you don't want to, just write down your feelings about the topic. Then it becomes an essay. Everything can be a literature with a little thinking and planning. I hope you write your own short stories after reading my blog.
Good luck!! :-)

The Brave

The Brave

Last Friday, my class watched a movie 'Brave'. The main character was 'Merida', the princess of a small kingdom. This movie tells us about fate and how we should fight with them. We all have our own fate and what we do is change or respond to our fate while living through our lives... Merida and her mother, queen Elinor, try to change their fate. Now, what I'm going to do is compare Merida to other princesses in Disney movies such as Cinderella or Snow white.

But before I start just look at some trailers of this movie which can help you understand what kind of person Merida is...

First of all, Merida is far from Cinderella in life style. Cinderella's aim of life was true love and marriage, but Merida wanted freedom. She didn't want to be the princess which Cinderella was eager to be. Actually, Cinderella just wanted high status, in my opinion. She didn't know who is the prince and what kind of person he is but she just wanted to be the princess. She just knew that the prince is very 'handsome', nothing more. Merida was different. She wanted to choose her own love. She wanted to follow her heart. She didn't choose her fiancee and said that she needs time. This was a very good part for me because choosing one's fiancee is a decision that has to be made in great consideration. She knew that the decision can really change her life and considered it seriously, not like stupid Cinderella who only looked at appearance and believed in miracles. If Cinderella  was unhappy after marrying the prince, it's totally her fault.

Second, Merida was brave and courageous. She had thoughts and idea to chage her own life. In many Disney stories, like snow white, prince changes the princesses' life.  For example, if there were no prince coming near the dead snow white, Snow white will probably die. Her life was changed by outside force. But in Merida's case, it's different. Merida found her own spell by herself and knew how to use it. And thought she made a mistake while using her spell, she desperately tried to make up the mistake she made. She was responsible for her life!

In conclusion, Merida was powerful young women who really has true bravery. She knew how to overcome her fate. She didn't just cry like other princesses. She fought. She did  her best to make her life better knowing that it might work worse. I love her courage and strength to carry on her life. She's like the lyrics of Mariah carey's 'hero'. In the song, there's a part like this; Look inside you and be strong and you'll finally see the truth that a hero lies in you...:D

Diamante Poem

A diamante poem is a structural poem.
It follows a diamond structure, so it is called the 'diamante' poem.
Normal diamante poem looks like this...

Noun#1
Adjective Adjective
-ing -ing -ing
noun noun noun noun
-ing -ing -ing
Adjective Adjective
Noun#2

The blue one refers to noun#2 and the red one refers to noun#1.
They should have to be relevant to the two nouns...
Now, this is my diamante poem;

Cake
soft sweet
kneading baking eating
whipped cream strawberry chocolate flour
shaping decorating consuming
hard crispy
cookie

My Goal During the Glps

MY GOALS

We set a lot of goals everyday and most of them fail
because there are no specific plans how to achieve that goal.
I saw a video about 'Matt Cutt' 30-day Challenges' and thought
that I should have a plan to keep during this camp.
For example I made three big plans ; exercising everyday and
eating only a few snacks at night and getting up early.
These are my specific plans how I can keep my goals.

For goal 1(exercising everyday), these are what I'll do,
step 1 : Think of an exercise that I can do inside the dormitory.
step 2 : Stretch my body sometimes during studying.
step 3 : Do some yoga with my roommates before sleeping.

For goal 2(eating only a few snacks at night), I'll do these.
step 1 : Get rid of all snacks from my dormitory.
step 2 : Eat fruits during dinner instead of snacks.
step 3 : When I'm hungry, drink a glass of water.

For the last goal(Get up early), these are my plans.
step 1 : Do my homework during the day.
step 2 : Go to bed at 10:30 pm.
step 3 : Use an alarm clock to wake up at 6:30 am.

Introduction

Hello? My name is Ma sua. Welcome to my blog and I want to introduce myself to you using three words; 10.15, a mocking bird and 3.
To start with, 10.15 was the day my hamster died. His name was 'black' because his
furs were black. He was a 'roborobski' which is a kind of hamsters with very shy but wild tempers. I loved him very much but now he's gone. I was so sad when I first saw him dead but now it's okay. I'm still sad but I'm trying to overcome. Actually the other hamster that was left died a few days ago, too. His name was 'white' an he was a 'pearl'. It was fortunate that he lived a long life.
Second, a mocking bird is a part of the name of my favorite book ; to kill a mocking bird.
It deals with human rights and conscience of people. I like novels with messages. Novels without messages can give temporary fun but I think good novels should include good messages that can help people.
Lastly, 3 means my family members. I'm an only daughter so my family has three people. I love my family a lot.
This is all about me.
this is a 'roborobski'

and this is a 'pearl'
